My husband (DH) and my four kids (J1)(A1)(J2)(A2)were all living in a fifth wheel RV named Pilgrim for the last 5 years. We are now out of the RV and were able to move into a mobile home. Slowly working our way up.
My DH was in the construction industry that tanked in AZ so we moved to OR. We went from making $70,000 a year to less than $10,000.
Due to various laws in OR we were unable to afford an apartment so the RV became our only choice. We moved into the Pilgrim in 2009. We have by the grace of God moved out of the RV and now live in a mobile home.
Both DH and I are currently enrolled in college. We also work when we can.
DH is becoming a Nurse and I am working to get my BFA in Theatre Arts.
While my degree may seem to be frivolous to some, living the way we have these past couple of years has taught me to take nothing for granted and follow my dreams. When you hit rock bottom the only way to go is up.
These are my musings.
The nickname Noe comes from one of my dear friends as a way to remember that my first name has no 'e' in it. So really, the Noe Nonsense means this is my nonsense.
I started this blog as a way to chronicle the blessings that come from doing what the God wants you to do.
